GreenShifters – Impact Networks. Moving Systems.
GreenShifters has been in intensive dialogue with various groups, organizations, institutions and actors from different contexts for several months in order to finalize a mapping that shows where there is an acute need for cooperation and who can use support from whom and in what way.
We act as a connector to increase the collective effectiveness before and after the election for all parties involved.
One of the biggest challenges for the new EU Commission is the future of the Green Deal, the design of which is crucial for the potential extent of climate justice on this continent.
GreenShifters is convinced that we can only meet this historic opportunity and challenge together. That is why we are working to improve pan-European networking, complementing existing structures for optimal effectiveness. In this way, political decision-making can be supported effectively and from multiple perspectives.
Many of us at GreenShifters have experience with World Climate Summits and will be present at COP30 and subsequent summits after COP28, COP29 and the SBs to facilitate change. Meetings of civil society representatives at different levels, briefings in the conference context, as well as meetings for networking and the international exchange of solutions, have great potential.
